The SMC 5th Year Student Council was elected in September 2021 and comprises of the following students:
Chairperson- Suin Cummins
Secretary – Rebecca Tallon
Treasurer- Ella Cronin
PR- Kitty Irwin, Aoife Nixon and Sophie Mulhall.
The Student Council work closely with their 5th year Year Head especially this year as the year group have moved to new premises.
In September, they formed the Guard of Honour for our special guest Clodagh McKenna and featured on the ITV Programme “Good Morning”
The Council will work on a fundraising initiative during the year to raise funds for a charity nominated by their Year Group.
They represent student voice in the school community and work closely with students to represent their views.
