Walk in my shoes

On Friday 10th of October the staff and students of Scoil Mhuire took part in the Walk in my shoes campaign to promote awareness of mental health issues. Walk in my shoes encourages people to view mental health issues from other perspectives. In an effort to encourage awareness the girls took part in the “Funky Shoe Day” in order to raise funds for this initiative. We would like to thank the staff and students who donated to this worthy cause.

TY World War One Project

We would like to congratulate the students of Mr. Daly’s Transition Year History class of 2013/14 on completion of their project on the First World War. The students researched Irish involvement in the Great War in conjunction with Trinity Church. On Friday 19th of September Fifth Year students Zoe Donnelly, Laura O’Riordan and Rebecca O’Donovan presented their year long research in Trinity Church. Their efforts help to preserve our link with the events of 100 years ago.
